From an early age we’re told that goal setting is important—but few of us are told why, or how we should go about doing it.

“Doing your best” without setting goals isn’t good enough; the subconscious doesn’t work that way. Some women have actually been discouraged from following their dreams, but it’s usually our own inner voice that tells us our dreams are unrealistic.
