Anxiety
Occasional anxiety is a normal part of life, but for someone with an anxiety disorder, it does not go away. Types of anxiety disorders include generalized, panic, and social. Symptoms can include:
Feeling restless or edgy
Becoming easily fatigued
Having difficulty concentrating
Having a hard time falling or staying asleep
Nearly half of all patients diagnosed with depression are also diagnosed with an anxiety disorder, but these disorders are treatable!
Depression
Depression is a common mood disorder that affects how you think, feel and handle everyday life. If you’ve lost interest in the things you used to enjoy, or feel empty most of the day, you may be suffering from depression. Symptoms can include:
Feeling sad, empty, guilty or worthless
Losing interest in hobbies and activities, including sex
Feeling fatigued and sluggish
Having difficulty sleeping, concentrating and making decisions
Thoughts of suicide
